Thank you to the folks who sent in their submissions and you know I can’t wait to see more from you. Slight problem, though, we need more. I think maybe there’s a “wait and see” mode and people may be holding back because they’re not sure about a lot of things regarding the site, but please put your concerns and/or fears to rest and submit. We don’t judge you here. If you’d like more of a flavor of what kind of items people send in, please comb through the archives. References are available. It’s always hard to get momentum going, but I’m sure that once we get it we will be unstoppable and you’ll be a member of a non-judgmental community of people who just like to write. You don’t have to be a professional. You don’t even have to blog. There are no limits. Please take a chance and submit something today, be it something old or something new – it doesn’t matter. Tell a friend, encourage that person to submit something. Write a post about us. Again, this site isn’t generating revenue, so I have nothing to gain by traffic or promotion except a really great site made of people who care about writing.
The photo uploader for art submissions will be up shortly; until then, you can use our Flickr group for your submissions or email them to me in at least 800×600 or thereabouts.
Seriously. We can’t start until we have more people and more posts. I really want to try to publish a different person every day. And I really, really don’t like publishing myself unless I have to because that’s just sort of a jackass move. So, please? With a cherry on top?
